Brochure Welcome to the Czech Republic
Have you just arrived at the Czech Republic with the intention to reside here on a long-term basis? In that case, this brochure is right for you. It will introduce you to basic information about the Czech Republic, your rights and obligations in the new country, as well as essential topics that will be of major importance to you – e.g. legal residence, employment, business, housing, health care. The brochure complements the adaptation-integration course Welcome to the Czech Republic which is obligatory for selected groups of foreigners as of 1 January 2021.
How do I do this?
Do you want to move to the Czech Republic for a longer period of time to work, study, do business or reside with your family here? The leaflet How do I do this? will provide you with clear and summarized information about the basic things that you need to do and conditions you need to meet in order to obtain one of the residence permits allowing you to live in the Czech Republic on a long term basis.
Next Stop the Czech Republic
If you plan a longer residence in the Czech Republic, you will find the brochure Next Stop the Czech Republic very useful before departing from your country. This brochure will introduce you, similarly to the leaflet How do I do this?, to the things you need to do and conditions you need to meet in order to arrive to the Czech Republic as a holder of one of the residence permits the country provides. Compared to the leaflet, the brochure includes more detailed information and it aims to familiarize foreigners with rights and obligations they will have when living in the Czech Republic. The brochure also aims to help with basic orientation in areas that are crucial to foreigners.
