We would like to provide you with information about courses organized by the Ministry of the Interior.
Their aim is to make it easier for you to start a new life in a new country.
The adaptation-integration course will help you with a quick and easy orientation in Czech society,
getting familiar with basic information and knowing your rights and obligations.
What will I learn?
The main topics addressed in the course are issues foreigners experience in their everyday life.
You will be also introduced to the basic values of Czech society and Czech culture during the course. You will also get information about organizations and institutions providing free counselling for foreigners, language courses and other services.
What is the course like?
The course is given by an experienced tutor and interpreter. The course is taught in Czech and it is interpreted into one of these nine languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, French, Serbian, Mongolian, Arabic and Vietnamese. The course lasts four hours and the participation fee is CZK 1,500 for a public course.
A new obligation.
The adaptation-integration course is obligatory for selected groups of third-country nationals, principally, people having a residence permit coming into effect after January 1, 2021. On the Ministry of the Interior website, you can find a full list of groups of foreigners that are obliged to participate in the course, including a list of exceptions defined by law.
